Rotary Club of the Heights of Greater Cleveland Holds 31st Annual Awards Recognition for Shaker Heights Fire and Police. Each year the respective departments select a first responder that models Service above Self. This year the recipients for 2021 are:
-Police Award: Det. Brian M Walsh
-Firefighter Award: Joseph Leiben
Both recipients were honored this morning by Rotary members along with family and friends from both departments. District Governor David Jones joined the celebration with his own remarks. Each honoree received an individual plaque and stipend as well as had their name added to their department wall plaque.
